Bush - Come Down (Acoustic)
from "Sixteen Stone"
This is really just an acoustic version of this song but I guess you could use an electric.
I also find that it sounds nicer on a nylon string but to each his own.
E G D
Love and hate get it wrong
Am E
She cut me right back down to size
G D
Sleep the day, let it fade
Am E
Who was there to take your place
G D
No one knows never will
Am E
Mostly me but mostly you
G D Am
What do you say do you do, when it all comes down
Chorus
G D Em A
'Cause I don't wanna come back down from this cloud
G D Em A
It's taken me all this time to find out what I need
G D Em A
I don't wanna come back down from this cloud
G D Em A
It's taken me all this, all this time
Verse 2
E G D
There is no blame only shame
Am E
When you beg you just complain
G D
more I come more I try
Am E
All police are paranoid
G D
So am I, so's your future
Am E
So are you, be a creature
G D Am
What do you say, do you do when it all comes down
(then jump into chorus again with G)
Chorus
(then theres a little break in the lyrics for a bunch of "why-do-you"s [refer to the song]
for that part you can just keep playing the chorus riff but you can improvise also as I always end up doing.)
The first verse repeats and then the chorus a couple times and then it ends on Am
(It doesn't necessarily havce to end on Am if it sounds too weird to you I have a firend who likes to end with G
but you can always make up your own ending to it too)
That's pretty much it. Happy strumming.
